The Holiday season is my all time favorite time of the year. I love having something big to look forward to, and having little traditions that you do every year can be so fun. This year I really want to emphasize what the season is about and show ways of giving, especially since I have a little boy watching everything I do. I want to ingrain a spirit of giving in him so that he will know Christmas is about giving and the birth of Jesus.

Wearing your baby is not only convenient but it also helps your baby developmentally. Having the child where they can see what you are doing is a stimulate for their brain, seeing how things work. Baby wearing has become more popular in the last few years and with this a lot more companies that make and sell baby wearing items. While not all baby wearing products are expensive I still wanted to see if I could make a super affordable sling that is just as good. And I have to say it works really well and was super easy and affordable to make. My son is too big to wear, but I do have an adorable nephew that I have the pleasure of babysitting sometimes.
This has really helped me when I keep Emerit, I hope you find it useful too!

There is nothing I love more than something that is useful and decorative. A chunky knit blanket is just that. It keeps you so warm but when you aren't cuddled up on the couch it looks pleasing to the eye draped over a bed or chair.
